A medium-sized pharmaceutical company wants to gain initial experience in agile and hybrid project management. To this end, a pilot phase is to be carried out with two project teams and evaluated at the end. The central question is how agile or hybrid, project management can be applied in a regulatory process.  

The BWI expert provided a basic introduction to agile and hybrid project management for the invited pilot project teams. The focus was on the question of how an agile method like Scrum can be transformed into the pharmaceutical company setting. After the training, the scope of the pilots was defined.

The two pilot projects will be developed and worked on with the help of the BWI expert for about 6 months. The focus of the support is on finding a good and suitable hybrid setting, in which the instruments and tools from agile project management are defined individually for each project. The final evaluation was successful, and it was decided to roll out a hybrid approach for further projects in the company on a step by step basis.
